Electric Vehicle Charging Update
Rate Change Notice – Scranton, PA
Effective May 15, 2026, Park Scranton will implement updated pricing for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
New Charging Rates
Energy Rate
- $0.35 per kilowatt hour (kWh)
Overstay Fee
- $2.00 per hour
- Applies 30 minutes after charging is complete
Important Reminder
Please move your vehicle promptly once charging is complete to avoid additional fees and allow access for other users.
Hours of Operation:
- Parking Office Hours are 8 AM to 7 PM
- Parking Office is located at 140 Adams Avenue Scranton, PA 18503
- Garage Parking availibility is 24/7, with the exception of The Marketplace at Steamtown Garage which is only open during mall hours of 10 AM to 9 PM
- Meter Parking is enforced from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday — Friday. There is no enforcement on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
Garage Parking Rates:
Hourly Rates
Monday to Sunday
- Park for up to 10 hours at a rate of $1.25 per hour.
- Park for up to 24 hours at a maximum rate of $15.00.
- Lost ticket fee is $22.00
- $0.15 processing fee for credit card transactions
Special Events Rate
- Flat Fee of $6.00
Monthly Rates
- Standard rate is $95 per month
- Reserved rate is $122 per month
